Can I install games on my Iphone without unlocking it and losing my warranty?

When you jailbreak it, you can always restore before you take it to Apple in order to remove the jailbreak completely.



But as of right now, there is no way to install anything on your iPhone without jailbreaking. At the end of june, Apple comes out with firmware 2.0 which will put AppStore (exactly like iTunes Wi-Fi Store only with applications) on your home screen. For iPhone users, this update is free (of course some apps will be free and some will cost money...depending on if they are free in the computer world [if PopCap can fit all of Bejeweled 2 (which they can) into the iPhone, then why would they make it free? It's not like it's anything different]). but of course AIM will be free or Solitaire.

once you unlock it. i believe that you can restore it back to factory settings and it will erase any sign of you hacking it. my touch is hacked. and i have no had any problems with it. just make sure you follow the directions well. so no problems occur when you do stay on 1.1.1
