Well, I think that will be pretty impossible seeing as Apple wants you to buy their phone, but not do anything with it. So if you do manage to get a game on there (an unapproved Apple game) it will be deleted with their firmware update. So yay for a $400 phone you don't have freedom to do much with.

How do you put games/videos on iPhone?

I bought an iphone off ebay from the Us and its now on telstra unlocked in australia and i can call n play previously uploaded games n text etc. but my mail and internet dont work and im not sure why? how do i activate edge? it was previousli at&t and i have the old sim.Also how do u upload games n videos onto the iphone?

I think EDGE dependency would be if your carrier supported the iPhone originally. Each phone has their own specific EDGE settings & since (assuming) the iPhone was not on your carrier originally then there would be no settings available. You may have to do it manually or carry it in & see if it is at all possible to do.
In the meantime you do have wi-fi as an alternative, its faster anyway.
To put anything on the iPhone you could do 2 things:
1. Through iTunes where you would be able to put music, photos, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, applications (games, etc).
or
2. If the iPhone is 2.0 or greater you could download what you want through the App Store that is on it. You will need an iTunes Account before though. Just note that.

iPhone apps are developed in Objective C, which takes no less than 10 years or 10 thousand hours to master. Experienced programmers will be able to fluently use it with *only* 6 to 8 months of constant practice (although, if you already know C++ or C, you can get it in less).
Like I said, I don't mean any offense and my apologies if you ARE an experienced software dev. If not, you should look into another way of making some extra scratch. This isn't kid's stuff.

It's not easy... it involves jailbreaking your iPhone, downloading the emulators, and accessing the inner files of the iPhone that are normally locked to put the games on. Be warned - messing with those files can brick your iPhone if you're not careful.

How good is the iphone at playing games?

This will not hurt your phone at all to jailbreak it but it might freeze up your phone when you either try to download it or open it.
I would not recomend installing apps from Cydia (jailbroken app that comes when you jailbreak it, plus intaller)
Just sign up for iTunes on your compter. Or you probably have to have one when you activate your phone.
Download the FREE ones and not the ones that cost money.

Do iphone games work on other touch screen phones?

I have the ATT Fuze (Touch Pro). A second question I might have is does ATT sell games exclusively for touch screen phones? All signs so far point to no. So I looked up iphone games online, and there are TONS of games for the iphone. Do these games only work on the iphone? Or would they work on my Fuze too?

I tried to update a game on my iphone through the update section of the app store. I got a message that said the update must be done through wifi or iTunes. I logged into my iTunes account, but was clueless on where to go. What am I supposed to do?

When you update your apps on your iphone through the app store, you will need a wifi connection to do so. Otherwise, just plug your iphone through your pc and open itunes and sync your iphone. Itunes will automatically update your apps for you.
If you have a wifi connectivity around you. Just connect to it then update your apps from app store on your iphone.
If you do not know how exactly to connect to a wifi go to
Settings - Wifi - it will show you a list of wifi network around you. lock means you need to provide a password -- no lock means you can connect without password.
